Facebook Best Practices Mood MarketingDid you say Facebook…? Believe it or not, Facebook is still one of the top social media platforms for both personal and professional use. There are still 2.37 billion active users on Facebook. Let’s keep this number in mind and think about how you can use it to your advantage. Facebook has so many new tools that can help your content marketing, but where do you start? Here are some Facebook best practices that could help your page!

Provide creative content

The last thing you want is for your audience to do the dreaded scroll by; the scroll that goes so fast that they don’t even see any posts. Not anymore! By providing creative content, your audience won’t scroll by you. Videos are the best way to communicate with your audience (if done correctly). Videos receive the most interaction compared to other types of posts. Social media users are looking for authentic material, so try to experiment with different types of content. This goes for all social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.

If you are not posting a video, try to include an image with your post (you know what they say, a picture’s worth a thousand words). Use visuals to your advantage because you want to catch your audience’s eye! Be sure to keep your caption short and sweet, the longer the post is the less likely they are to finish reading it.

Utilize Facebook Ad Manager

Facebook Ad Manager is a powerful tool that you can use to advertise for your company. If you are having a hard time finding your target audience, Facebook Ad Manager can help you with that. This tool also allows you to create and manage campaigns that you create on both Facebook and Instagram. Not to mention you can analyze reports to see how effective your campaigns are (It has it all!).

Content calendars are your friend!

Creating content can be a time-consuming task, which is why content calendars will come in handy. Fortunately, Facebook allows you to schedule posts within the app so you don’t have to use another platform (unless you want to, it’s all about what you like best!). Hootsuite is a great alternative to use for scheduling content as well! To optimize your content marketing, you should post 3-5 times a week to make sure your audience remembers you.

Be active

Engaging with your audience is a great way to build relationships. You don’t want to seem like a robot posting on your page, your audience wants to know that they are interacting with a human (unless you are a robot?!). Be sure to reply to messages, comments, tags, etc. (positive or negative), because all feedback is good feedback. You can also encourage your audience to be active by asking questions in your posts or on your Facebook story.

There are many different ways you can utilize Facebook, which can be very overwhelming. Just do your research and find what best works for you! If you need assistance Mood Marketing is here to help!
